My first real contact with Carey was a phone call at home one evening about 5 months before our wedding. It was wonderful to speak with someone who immediately put me at ease and who was so obviously well experienced and professional. Even at this stage I was happy with my choice. Time never seems to be rushed with Carey.  I was given her complete attention during the trial and the morning of the wedding. Her approach is extremely friendly and natural. I had mailed Carey some photos of hair and make-up that I liked and she adapted these looks to suit me, nothing is overdone, I loved the natural look. My bridesmaid, mum, mum-in-law and I really enjoyed the morning. Thank you so much Carey, I can’t recommend you enough!

Carey was simply fabulous.  We first met for my trial before the wedding and it was so wonderful to have somebody who really listened to how I would like to look, and feel on my wedding day.  Carey is so professional, and personable, and someone who also sees what works for you.  A few hours after we began, the image I had fixed in my mind as to how I would like to look on my wedding day was staring back at me in the mirror.  Then the excitement really set as I could see the strands of our wedding starting to come together.  The morning of the wedding was organized chaos and Carey was brilliant.  Calm and reassuring throughout, she put everyone at ease as she set to work.  In the previous few days I had had very little sleep and was feeling anxious, but thanks to Carey's make-up skills I had a fresh, dewy complexion with bright eyes and delicately blushed cheeks a lips.  What really made me happy was that I didn't feel as though I was wearing make-up, and it lasted the 32 degree heat all day and my dancing all night too!  As well as my make-up Carey worked wonders with my hair.  I wanted a vintage side-do, and had had a special pearl comb made for the occasion. My hair was brilliantly styled, without being constricting or looking over-done, and absolutely gave me that classic 1940s vintage edge I so desired. Throughout the day people told me how wonderful I looked, and how my hair was "stunning", "very elegant" and "chic" and it was perfect, just perfect. Thank you Carey!
